This video is freely inspired on the writings of Paul Virilio about the mass media. The original idea came about while watching television with digital glitches, where, the distorted and deconstructed images, as well as having a hypnotic charm, seemed more real than real and communicating their deep sense. To achieve a similar effect, I used processing and pure data, first for realizing an interactive multimedia installation (http://www.paganmuzak.com/truenews.html) and then the video. In the final part, the digital distorted TV images become echoes of the distant past that vanishes.
