Hamza Kırbaş

Hamza Kırbaş (1992, Batman) He graduated from Batman University Faculty of Fine Arts Painting Department in 2017. He continued his education at Silesia University Faculty of Fine Arts, Graphic Design Department in 2014/2015. He graduated master from Hacettepe University Fine Arts Institute in 2020. In my works, I offers concepts and analyzes to the audience; I aim for viewers to understand, solve and complete them with their own thoughts. My works consists of hybrid structures that use past and present images together. The artist uses mediums such as video placement, sound placement, interactive installations, sculpture, data visualization, space-oriented 3D animation in versatile art practice. His work is shaped around socio-political concepts such as space, public space, identity, gender and migration. His works; especially Turkey; It was exhibited in many international exhibitions, festivals and biennials in England, New york, Baja California, Colombia, Malta, Hungary, Brazil, Poland, France, Germany, Spain, Finland, China, Ecuador, Greece and Italy. In 2018, she was nominated from Turkey for the by Warsteiner Blooom Award in Düsseldorf. In 2019, he received the Critics Award from the Venice lands Art Prize in Italy.
