Vector Blue Bot

Vector Blue Bot overlays lines created by light and shadow. In segments of the video the lines separate and disassociate from a form as they sway in undefined space. In contrast, the lines also coalesce into interlaced webs of data, and appear to communicate a schematic form. Throughout the video the lines’ deconstructive and constructive movements are accompanied by the mechanical sounds of pen plotters. I composed this audio track to solidify associated notions of other drawing processes conducted by mechanical mapping and vector imaging.
