Stephanie Hough

Stephanie Hough is an experimental filmmaker whose work explores repetition, gender, relationships and emotional landscapes. A graduate of Portland State University and the Film Center’s Certificate Program in Film, she is the director of the short film HEART, shot on 16mm, which has screened in the NW Filmmakers’ Festival, Portland International Film Festival, at the TriBeca Film Center, BendFilm and other venues, and SPOOKY ACTION AT A DISTANCE, shot on super 8mm, featured as part of the Film Center’s GLOBAL CLASSROOM series, and appearing on Lower Boom Presents’ tv channel at the Eastlund Hotel. As the Equipment Manager for the Film Center, she provides technical support to students of all levels and to community members renting equipment for personal and non-profit use. She has also been a Project Manager/Producer with Alpha Media for 4 years where she oversees over 200 live music events per year and produces video content for national and global clients
