Henna-Riikka Halonen
Henna-Riikka Halonen’s recent projects and research are concerned with how social relations and spaces are conditioned by technological developments. Using the critical possibilities of speculative fiction, she makes films, performances, texts, and installations that aim to open a space to re-imagine the world we inhabit. Halonen has worked on and produced many collaborative large-scale projects and has shown her work widely in international exhibitions. She graduated with MFA Fine Art from Goldsmiths College, London in 2006 and with a doctorate from the Finnish Academy of Fine Arts.
