  • Clara de Cápua, born 1984, is a Brazilian artist who works in-between the performing and the visual arts. Graduated in Performing Arts and Master in Arts at UNICAMP (Campinas State University), has studied the image as a support for the actor’s creative work and theoretical thinking. Due this research, has received a financial support from FAPESP (Brazil). Worked as a actress for several years, performing in theater plays and in a movie. In 2017, made a switch to the visual arts, mostly through drawing and videoperformance. Since then, took part in several both national and international collective exhibitions. Has artworks at the Museu da Diversidade Sexual (Sexual Diversity Museum), in São Paulo. Took part in two international art residencies, one in North Macedonia (2017) and one in Iceland (2018-19). Her videos have been exhibited in Brazil, Germany, Iceland and Iran.
