Arjan Brentjes

Dutch artist Arjan Brentjes (1971) worked as a painter from 1996 until 2007. Then he started making video works because there were things he couldn't express in his paintings. He uses cinematographic styles from the past as a creative language to bring across his artistic view on current day events.
