After a night of strange dreams, Jaque Jolene wakes up and soon takes her break-fast drinking some psychotropic drugs. Hallucinations arises as a call for a pleasant stroll through the busy streets of Sao Paulo (Brazil). Trip Paulista, video of the Peripetias series, explores the construction of the Jaque Jolene's character and is the start of a series of elaborated videos in which the stories are guided by the personality created. Combining two prevailing languages, performative and cinematographic, Trip Paulista presents the universe of a more intimate and real character: her home, her personal belongings, her routine, unfolding in a second performative moment in a public space.
