A video that interprets the texts of Tim Ingold, Jane Jacobs, Ursula K. LeGuin among many other academic and indigenous thoughts and practices through the story of a fictional jellyfish that exists in a future, submerged St. John's, Newfoundland.
The Jellyfish is made from a woven piece the artists made while in residence at Eastern Edge gallery, St. John's, inspired by the culture of craft and fishing prevalent to the communities that inhabit this coast. The backdrop is a rhizome of digital scans from Downtown St John's and the protagonist interacts with some of the cities material culture.
