Second Body is a speculative video that explores the oceanic body as a site of transformation and renewal. Using 3D scans and AI generative sequences, it reimagines nature as mutable rather than fixed. Engaging with SIMULTAN’s theme Re:MEDIATE, the work reflects on remediation as symbolic survival—where scanned bodies dissolve and reform, negotiating between memory and mutation, organic and synthetic. Inspired by Haraway’s “making kin,” it envisions adaptation as a response to ecological collapse.
