Piece of Piss

A blonde woman in a pink gown urinates in strategic places to mark her territory. The kitsch costume and beautiful slow-motion billowing of the dress belie the animalistic element. I am interested in 'becoming-animal' and testing the boundaries of humanness. This is from a body of work looking at animal/human hybrids as metaphors for subjectivity. Here I wanted to explore the scent-marking of territory and interrogate gender stereotyping and wildness versus tameness.
