Oceanaia is an experimental video that reimagines future aquatic life through storytelling and scientific visuals. Using microscope photography of marine microorganisms, the work constructs hybrid, fluid bodies—symbols of resilience, migration, and biodiversity. In response to the Re:MEDIATE theme, Oceanaia explores how imagination can remediate ecological anxiety and displacement, transforming memory, difference, and scientific traces into hopeful, inclusive futures. It proposes a poetic and symbolic rewriting of life beyond crisis.
