The work unfolds as a free-form audiovisual narrative, combining fragments from historical and fictional accounts. It explores the concept of catastrophe and the digital–physical entanglement in contemporary experience. Augmented footage, synthetic imagery, and found data construct a post-apocalyptic scenography: mechanical entities perform a kind of future archaeology, while the human is mediated only through what's left of its infrastructures. Employing sci-fi and sarcasm, the work reflects on today’s eco-social challenges and the fetishized role of technology in the collective imaginary.
