Black Box Recorder

A2M37, the narrator of "Black Box Recorder," blurs the distinction between human/machine. At times her statements derive from cold logic, but sometimes they embody something like desire, and perhaps even love. This experimental short utilizes found film footage with text-to-speech processes to document a kind of transfer of consciousness - a continuous data loop where sense and recognition ebb and flow in time.
