This short explores the theme of humanity's destructive relationship with the environment through the lens of the history of aeronautics. It starts with the drying of Lake Texcoco for an airport in Mexico City, and goes on to cover the first intercontinental flight, airplanes as machines of war, and the race to conquer space. All of these events and their impacts show how humanity is disconnecting from nature and using technology for destructive purposes. The sinister relationship between humanity and nature is evident throughout the history of aviation and continues today.
