This speculative documentary superimposes two climate engineering "technofixes" underway on our planet. One proposes to revive woolly mammoths from extinction to rewild the arctic tundra, locking thawing methane deposits back into the permafrost, averting a climate tipping point. The other is a carbon dioxide removal plant being built in Iceland, capturing and storing 4000t of CO₂ annually; a pilot for a larger version codenamed Mammoth, to be completed in 2024. These two “mammoth” entrepreneurial endeavours are set in counterpoint by narration from an AI at some future vantage point
