The Virtual Tour of the IIRRE

Both a virtual body of which only the hands are visible and an unreliable narrator choreographs the space of the screen. The hands and the voice orchestrate a guided tour through significant past and future developments of financial transactions and systems of exchange. Alternating between representation and abstraction, the experimental short film follows a narrative at the border between fact and fiction. Through its structure, use of gestures and the presence of the voice, the movie tackles concepts such as history-making, extreme digitalization, immateriality and interactivity in the digital world, utopic bureaucracy and financial transactions.
