Sounds of a modern world fill the natural environment. Potential explores a relationship between natural and artificial sounds such as jet planes overhead, cars on a rocky road, the jingling of dog tags, or trotting horses and the voices of their riders. The shifting trees and plants simulate a potential disturbance between nature and people. It is a metaphor for the lack of clarity or inability to see and hear what nature itself really has to offer.
