An astronaut is coordinating between breathing and his inner voice through space. Conscious, alert and awake, but unable to move due to the total loss of his cognitive functions. He appears to be in a state of someone who suffers from Locked-In syndrome, drifting in an abstracted universe in the form of a desolated ocean. The video "De-efferented state" refers to our hi-tech society and our inability of understanding the world we live in by the means of technology. Additionally to the visual expression, the music by Frederic Chopin was added to include and connect the viewer with the universal resonance of all beings and matter.
