Zhu Xiaowen
Elżbieta Wysakowska-Walters (Ela W-Walters) was born in Gdynia, Poland. Currently, she lives and works in Kraków. Walters completed an MFA 2011, at Intermedia Department of the University of Arts in Poznan, Poland.
She has taken part in many international projects and exhibitions such as:
Interior-ity (4th Moscow Biennale of Contemporary Art), Mediation Biennale, European Public Art Centre:EPAC, and COMVIDEO organised by apexart in New York.
She is a member of Micro Galleries (http://microgalleries.org).
In 2019 she established Krakow artists collective called Re-publika Artystów, which she co-creates with Małgorzata Białek, Filip Czaja, Bartek Woźniak, Jędrzej Jaklik. Since October 2019, she has been the only and official wife of Kazimierz district in Krakow.
Currently, she is a PhD student on Interdisciplinary PhD programme at the University of Arts in Poznan, Poland. Wysakowska-Walters is a lecturer at the Intermedia Department of The Academy of Fine Arts in Kraków. She runs classes in Intermedia Drawing, Animation, and Expanded Cinema.
