Vanessa Gageos

Vanessa Gageos is a Media-Artist often performing her own sound-, haptic- and visual-installations. Through always combining different layers of information, she wishes to bring philosophical ideas into materiality and open-up alternative spaces to contemplate, gain knowledge and take action. She studies at the Berlin University of the Arts, University of the Arts Bern and Weißensee School of the Arts Berlin and has showed her work at ZKM - Center of Art and Media in Karlsruhe, Hamburger Bahnhof - Museum for Contemporary Art Berlin, House of World Cultures Berlin, Transmediale - Festival for Art and Digital Culture, OSA - Open Source Art Festival in Poland, The Berliner Festspiele Arts Center, Villa Manin de Passariano, TRA Treviso Ricerca Arte, Molino Stucky Venice, National Gallery of Art Gdańsk Baltic Sea Culture Centre, Dampfzentrale Cultural Center Bern and many others.
