Sam Holden

Using a range of approaches and a variety of media, my work examines the representation of the self; exploring issues such as identity, hyperconsciousness, multiplicity, self-image and the image repertoire. My work has been exhibited throughout the UK and internationally, including shows in New York, Brighton, Barcelona, Limassol (Cyprus) Kansk (Russia) and Varna (Bulgaria) and London - most recently as part of Bloomberg New Contemporaries 2008 at Rochelle School and FreshFacedandWildEyed at The Photographer’s Gallery. I completed my BA (Hons) Degree in Editorial Photography from the University of Brighton in 2003 and my Master’s Degree in Photography at London College of Communication, London in 2007.
