Russosky

Russosky is an italian visual artist whose practice spans video art, audio/visual performance, photography and film. He started as a freelance photographer, cooperating with advertising agencies such as JWT, Publicis and Leo Burnett. After years of freelancing he joined the Getty Images Agency. After several years of photography he began first experimentations with filming and visual "cut up" with old archive footage, so he decided to migrate from photography to film making. He started to explore a wide range of fields; video installations, interactive dance ballet performances, music videos and vjing in many club visuals. His projects are characterized by a meticulous attention to details using various technique, from stop motion to integrating computer generated materials. His video have been short listed at Swiff ( South West International Film Festival ) and at "Stranger Than Fiction Festival" New York. He he often collaborates with musicians, choreographers, and djs. Russosky's artworks have been published and reviewed by the most importants Magazines and Art Blogs on the Web, like Stashmedia, Artnau, The Curious Brain, I Heart Chaos and Kuriositas. His visual productions have also selected and screened in many venues: Cafe Moskau, Berlin; The Incredibly Short Film Festival, Sidney; The Roxy Bar & Screen, London; ViaFarini, Milano; Ascona Film Festival, Switzeland.
