  • Roy Menachem Markovich was Born 1979, lives and works in Tel Aviv. He is a graduate of HaMidrasha School of Art, Beit Berl College, Israel. He has had solo exhibitions at venues such as RawArt Gallery in Tel Aviv, Klubovna Gallery in Brno, bei Koc in Hannover, the Artists Residence in Herzelyia and Message Salon- Perla Mode in Zurich. His works have been shown in numerous group exhibitions around the world, at venues such as the Contemporary Jewish Museum in San Francisco, Helena Rubinstein Pavilion of the Tel Aviv Museum of Art, MeetFactory in Prague, The CCA in Tel Aviv, The Israeli Centre for Digital Art in Holon, Torrance art museum in Los Angeles, Arad Contemporary Art Center, and more. Markovich's video works had been screened at Tate Modern, London, MACBA, Barcelona, Macedonian Museum of Contemporary Art, Redcat, Los Angeles, and Videographies festival in Liege, among others. He was awarded The Senior Video Artist prize by the Israeli ministry of culture in 2020, The Advancement Art Award for most recent contemporary art by Kunst Zurich in 2013, And Won the Pais Support Scolarship in 2020, Yotzrim Foundation scholarship by the Israeli ministry of culture in 2019, Sharett Fund Scholarship (The Israel - America Cultural Fund) in 2006/7 and the Haifa university "anonymous exhibition" scholarship in 2007.
