Nicolas Carrier
Graduated from the National High School of Arts Paris-Cergy and from La Sorbonne Nouvelle in Cinema Studies, Nicolas Carrier directs short elliptical films, often abstract, between ethnography and tourism. Inspired by the traces of deindustrialization and the leisure society, he creates pleasant and performative moments that he films as documents to explore the vestiges of our times and the rituals they produce.
