Nathalie Joffre
Nathalie Joffre is a French artist based in Paris (photography, video, installation). Her work explores memory and its construction, especially through archives (scientific & family) and archeological gestures. After graduating from ESSEC in economical science & business and University Paris 1- Panthéon Sorbonne in art history, she studied video art in Amiens Art University with Françoise Parfait and photography at LCC, University of the Arts, London. Her video work was rewarded with grants and awards in France and abroad ( Sproxton Award Photography London, Prix ICART Paris, shortlist Aesthetica Art Prize (York), shortlist Celeste Prize (Rome), Résidence NEARCH/CENTQUATRE, bourse KML…) and shown in museums, galeries, festivals internationally (CENTQUATRE Paris, Kino der Kunst Münich, Kunstraum Bethanien Berlin, Kunstmuseum Nürnberg, Museum of the Mind London, Maudsley Trust London …)
