  • Mark Tholander is a pictorial artist who works and lives in Denmark. His work explores how our reality has changed since the post modern era. Today he is a student at the Jutland Art Academy in Aarhus, Denmark, and earlier he was a student at the Imperial Academy of Arts, in St. Petersburg, Russia. In 2012, he became a selected contributor to Lars von Triers art film "Disaster 501 What Happened to Man?", directed by Jenle Hallund, which premiered at Kunsthal Charlottenborg, and was later played at Tous Ecrans Festival, Switzerland, and Goteborg International Film Festival, Sweden. In 2014, one if his videos was selected for the FOKUS 2014 Video Art Festival, at Nikolaj Kunsthal, Copenhagen.
