Jena Jang

Jena Jang is a South Korean animated filmmaker, visual artist and sound designer based in Prague. She is a Ph.D. researcher in Visual Communication and got a master degree in Visual Arts and Film/TV Graphics. Her vision is to extend the potential of artistic animation as integrated art: visual sound and performative art. She often uses symbolistic and poetic storytelling methods. Experimental music is one of the essential parts of her works as it often excludes dialogue. Her films have been screened in film festivals worldwide, and also received two awards from Czech Republic and South Korea.
