Elizaveta Ostapenko

DEMSAM is a collaborative group of Russian artists formed in 2017 by Elizaveta Ostapenko, Daria Kochetkova, Anastasia Prahova and Marina Shtyk. DEMSAM's early work included performance, installation, collage and mixed media works. The recent video work 'AU! AU! SHARK SOMETHING IS VERY HEAVY’ was presented at many international film festivals in Russia and Europe. In 2019 artists received a Wand 5 Award at 32. Stuttgarter Filmwinter – Festival for Expanded Media (DE).
