How many stories does a picture hold? Does it matter what story you see, in the end? Episode 1: Nadim forms part of Too Many Humans…—an in-progress, five-part treatise on image-making in an age that has been re-conceived by the corporate sphere as the ‘metaverse’. Too Many Humans…seeks to interrogate the very nature and topography of the ocular, exploring how the notion of perspective has been re-configured through ‘invisible’ software and hardwired machines that remain largely concealed from public view.

  • Cream Projects is a London-based transdisciplinary and transcultural art collective, working across architecture, media, and the visual arts. The core of our practice explores computer generated mechanics and imagery, in the larger context of photographic and filmic histories. We examine these both as tools for the production of work across the film, fashion and music industries, as well as subjects of contemporary critique: our teaching at the Architectural Association (AA) and self-led moving image artworks seek to expand and contour how we see the ever-evolving world around us.
