Chen Serfaty

Born in Haifa, lives and Works in Israel and New York. Graduate Cum laude at the Bezalel Screen Based Arts Department (BFA) and Bezalel Master in Fine Art Department (MFA). Her Works has been exhibited in a number of group shows and Festivals in Israel and abroad such as: Haifa Museum, Manofim Art Festival, Print Screen Festival, Ha Yarkon Gallery, USC academy and more. Chen's works attempts to explore the video camera in relation to space and the body. There is a continuous connection of the urban architectural corpus with the human form, using it as a playground and as a stage. she works with sound, editing and installation as well as with drawings and stills, but always start from observing and sensing the energy of a space and using my camera to transfer it.
