Angel Stripe

Angel Stripe (previously Angela Stride), MA Fine Art, Birmingham Institute of Art & Design, is a contemporary artist working in Warwickshire. She now works predominantly in photography, video & projection installation, but also has experience of working in 3D multi media and sound art. Her work explores the hierarchy of the subject matter for art, specifically questioning the use of kitsch and work with and about animals. She has exhibited nationally and internationally, including Sweden, Iceland, Russia and the USA. She has won an award for video ôAll for LoveÆ and Arts Council funding for Stangeways Cheapside Show in Birmingham.
